A WOMAN has been left badly shaken after a masked car-jacker threatened her with a claw hammer in Studley.
At around 4pm last Monday (October 4) the victim was driving her white Ford Focus on Watts Road and Alcester Road when a masked man, carrying a claw hammer, approached her car.
He demanded her handbag and the keys to the car, threatening her with the weapon.
It is believed that the robber was part of a gang that were in other vehicles at the location, including a silver car and a black Car. Both these cars (which were also Ford Fiesta shaped) and the stolen Ford Focus were last seen travelling into Studley village at high speed.
Anyone who saw the offence or saw the suspect vehicles before and after the event are asked to contact the police on 101 quoting the incident number. Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers.
