A WOMAN was stabbed in an attempted robbery in Alvechurch last week.
Police were called to the Wast Hills Lane at around 3.20pm on Wednesday (May 17) following the attack.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was driving a red Renault Kadjar along Lea End Lane and stopped to help a man who was lying in the road.
After getting out the car, she was then assaulted by a second man but managed to drive away.
She was stabbed in the attack and was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment and her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The man lying in the road was well built and was wearing a black hooded top, blue jeans and white trainers.
The second man was white, of a heavy build, and was wearing a black top and black trousers.
He may have been wearing a black leather gloves.
Officers have urged any witnesses or anyone with any information to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
