Worcestershire County Council elections 2025 - Landslide victory for Reform UK as they take all divisions in Redditch

Ashleigh Osborne 2nd May, 2025 Updated: 2nd May, 2025   0

THE REDDITCH divisions in the Worcestershire County Council elections were dominated by Reform UK, which took all of the four seats, electing eight councillors in total.

Longtime councillors, Coun Bill Hartnett (Labour) and Karen Ashley (Conservative) lost out to Reform UK’s Joanne Monk and David Taylor.

Former leader of the council, Coun Matt Dormer also lost out to Reform UK’s Coun Stephen Foster.

Leader of the party, Nigel Farage visited Redditch earlier in the month and donned the prospective councillors the ‘most optimistic’ in the country.

The results have been stark and echo many happening in other councils across England.
