THE George Marshall Medical Museum at Worcestershire Royal Hospital will be hosting its annual evening of talks on Thursday, July 7.
After the success of previous talks about the Black Death and human anatomy, this year’s event is based on the fascinating theme of mental health through the ages with a focus on the patient and their treatment in Worcestershire.
The talks will begin promptly at 7:30pm, with refreshments from 7pm in the restaurant. Admission is £3.50, and the museum will be open during the event with a rare opportunity to see a special exhibition of photographs from Powick Hospital taken just before it closed.
There is free parking for visitors in the education centre’s car park. To a place call 01905 760738 or e-mail [email protected].
