EVERYBODY has a ‘bad hair day’ from time to time but that will not stop staff at a Wythall hair salon raising much-needed funds for London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Following the opening of The Luxury Spot, on Station Road, seven months ago, salon owner Kate Horman will hold a fund-raiser for the children’s hospital today (February 12) between 9.30am and 6.30pm.
And anyone having a bad hair day is more than welcome to attend – as the theme of the event is to showcase bad hair and wild nail art.
During the day, a sweepstake charity raffle will be held and all appointments booked during the event will be subject to a 10 per cent discount while all hair care products will be on sale at half price.
The team’s nail technician will donate all nail art proceeds to the charity while customers looking to get in shape for the coming spring can enjoy discounted waxing treatments.
A photo booth and Disney cut outs will be on offer for the younger clients and 75p from all children’s haircuts (priced at £6.75) will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Contact the salon on 01564 823 600 to book an appointment.
