Your guide to the Redditch seats at the 2025 Worcestershire County Council elections

RESIDENTS across Redditch borough, along with those in the rest of Worcestershire will be heading to the polls on Thursday, May 1.

There will be 57 Worcestershire County Council seats contested across 53 divisions, including eight in Redditch borough across four divisions.

Polls will be open from 7am to 10pm when all the ballot boxes across Redditch and the rest of the county will be collected.

The count will be held at the Abbey Stadium  from 10am on Friday, May 2, and we at the Standard will be there to bring you all the results live.

The current make-up of Worcestershire County Council – as determined by the 2021 vote and any subsequent by-elections – is 45 Conservative, 3 Labour, 4 Liberal Democrat and 5 others.,

Here are the candidates for the Redditch.

Contesting Redditch Central will be Clare Beckhelling (Green Party), Michael Chalk (Conservatives), Dave Edmonds (Reform UK), Andrew Fry (Labour), Andy Holmes (Liberal Democrat), Karen Holmes (Liberal Democrat), Christopher Holz (Conservative), Adam Price (The Green Party), Jane Splisbury (Labour) and Richard Tudge (Reform UK).




In Redditch East will be Karen Ashley (Conservative), Juliet Brunner (Conservative), Elaine Drage (Liberal Democrat), Bill Hartnett (Labour), Kathryn Manning (The Green Party), Joanne Monk (Reform UK), Jen Snape (Labour), David Taylor (Reform UK), Charles Tucker (Liberal Democrat) and Kevin White (Green Party).

Among those standing in Redditch South will be Juliet Barker Smith ((Labour), Roger Bennett (Reform UK), Willian Boyd (Labour), Ben Bradley (The Green Party), Brandon Clayton (Conservative), Claire Davies (The Green Party), Sue Eacock (Reform UK), Ann Glee (Liberal Democrat), David Gee (Liberal Democrat) and Craig Warhurst (Conservative).


And contesting Redditch West will be Matt Dormer (Conservative), Stephen Foster (Reform UK), Robin Lunn (Labour), John Marsh (Liberal Democrat), Emma Marshall (Conservative), Ashley Monk (Reform UK), Monica Stringfellow (Labour), David Thain (The Green Party), Glen Theobald (The Green Party) and Andy Thompson (Liberal Democrat).
