THE UNDEAD will be rising to creep around Alcester for a good cause.
All sorts of creatures of the night are set to visit pubs in the town to raise funds for Alcester Café and Dementia Care in Warwickshire as part of the second annual zombie pub crawl.
Games will be played at some of the venues and there will be live music at The Swan and Royal Oak to entertain the zombies during the event, which starts at 7.30pm tomorrow (Saturday), at the recreation ground off Stratford Road.
Court Leet officer Marc Venables said this year the event would feature more corpses to fill the money tins dotted around the pubs on the route.
“It’s just a fun and social, wacky if not creepy way of raising funds for a good cause and we hope for a great night out.”
