REDDITCH Swimming Club won the overall top club shield competing at the Worcester County Relays Gala.
Redditch took a squad of 60 swimmers from age groups starting at nine to 10-years-old all the way through to masters athletes.
All the races at the event took place in a relay format with boys, girls, mixed freestyle and medley races.
And all of Redditch’s relay teams successfully qualified out of their heats to take part in their respective finals with many finishing in the top-three overall.
After accumulating points throughout the day, Redditch’s swimmers won the overall top club shield by more than 50 points.
Redditch also won the top boys and top girls trophies – claiming the former trophy for the first time in 60 years.
Team Manager, Rachel Power said: “We are so incredibly proud of all of our swimmers who competed. This competition is always fun and energetic and a great opportunity for our swimmers demonstrate how well they can work together as a team as every point matters.”
