INKBERROW Ladies made history after securing a narrow 1-0 victory away at Kingfisher Women in their first-ever match in the FA Cup.
Maisie Britton’s fifth-minute goal proved decisive as her fine effort found the top right corner of the net to settle the second round qualifying tie.
Inkberrow’s reward in the next round is a home game against Leafield Athletic Ladies on Sunday, October 22 with kick-off at 2pm at Sands Road.
Entering the competition for the first time this season, the England Accredited and Kick it Out charter standard club offer football for girls of all ages and have a clear pathway through to its open age team.
