REDDITCH United have joined forces with Prospect Coaches to develop 10 new community football coaches.

Prospect Coaches have committed to funding coaching qualifications for the next up-and-coming generation of coaches and will provide potential candidates with a free FA Level 1 qualification alongside mentor support from Redditch United.

As part of the programme, coaches can gain additional FA qualifications in first aid and safeguarding and have the opportunity to coach within the club’s extensive junior and community programme.

Benefits of the coach development scheme include fully-funded FA courses: an FA Introduction to Coaching Football (Level 1), FA First Aid course and an FA Safeguarding for Children course.

The scheme also includes a fully-funded enhanced DBS check, opportunities for paid coaching in schools, holiday camps and foundation sessions, pportunities to coach or manage a team at Redditch United, support and mentoring from Redditch United staff and fellow coaches with all equipment and coaching wear provided by the club.

Redditch are hosting an information evening for all applicants at 7pm on Monday, July 15 at their Valley Stadium home.
