TANWORTH and Camp Hill stretched their unbeaten run to 10 matches with an impressive six-wicket win against Leek Wootton.
TACH completed a league double over the Warwickshire club as Tim Keyte took a five-for with the ball while opener Lee Gill starred with the bat at the Memorial Ground.
The result means Tanworth remain third in the Cotswold Hills League Premier Division table.
TACH were without first team regulars as Seth Jordan (ankle), Nick Sale (foot), Tom Smith (holiday) and Oscar Newell also unavailable.
Leek won the toss and opted to bat first on a hot day although TACH captain Andy Turnbull (1-49) trapped Kash Choudhry (0) LBW to make an early breakthrough.
A solid second-wicket stand between Vikas Kumar Soni (70) and Sandeep Murthy (27) added some useful runs for Lekk before Ben Bryant (2-33) removed the latter’s middle stump.
Another useful partnership brought Leek close to a century of runs before Keyte (5-41) claimed the wicket of Barney Dillow (17) as Turnbull produced a sharp catch.
And Jake Wright (1-33) then claimed the crucial wicket of opener Soni to leave Leek on 138-4 with 20 overs of the innings remaining.
An aggressive knock from Yash Sharma (46) kept the runs flowing for the home side as Jamie Plant (1-39) removed Aasheesh Talwar (7).
Keyte was reintroduced into the attack and picked up four wickets in the space of just 13 balls as he removed Andrew McAvan (14), Matt Edwards (6), Mark Hadden (1) and Sharma.
At the other end Bryant claimed his second wicket with a yorker to Alex Garman (4) with Leek all out for 203 as TACH took the final five wickets for the loss of just 21 runs.
In reply, TACH opener Gill (81) took the lead in a 66-run first-wicket partnership with Turnbull (11) as the visitors brought up 50 runs inside six overs.
A thin edge saw Turnbull depart to the bowling of Sharma (1-24) before Garman (2-35) made a double breakthrough to account for Martin Perfect (24) and Gill in quick succession.
The run rate reached a run-a-ball during the last eight overs, with TACH needing 24 from the final four overs.
The game changed in the space of three balls as Leek failed to take a routine catch to remove James Carey (29) and Bryant (34 not out) hit the next two balls for six and four.
With the game now in their favour, Carey eventually fell to Soni (1-44) as Dan Williams (7 not out) scored the winning runs.
Tanworth and Camp Hill are next in action against Shipston-on-Stour on Saturday, August 17 with the game to begin at 12.30pm at Tanworth Lane.
