REDDITCH’S Claire Cashmore won silver in the women’s PTS5 triathlon event competing for Great Britain at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Cashmore won silver in a time of 1 hour 5 minutes and 55 seconds ahead of fellow Brit Lauren Steadman (1:06:45) and behind American Grace Norman (1:04:40) who took gold.
The 36-year-old improved on the bronze medal she won at Tokyo 2020 after previously claiming eight swimming medals across four different Paralympic Games.
Her silver in Paris marks the 10th Paralympic medal of her career and second in triathlon.
