BROGAN Halpin scored a brace as Redditch Borough cruised to a 4-0 win against Newent Town to move second in the table.
Borough scored all four of their goals after the break with Halpin’s brace supported by strikes from Sean Brain and Tivon Henry at Cherry Tree Walk.
The result means Redditch sit second in the Hellenic League Division One table, five points behind leaders Droitwich Spa, after securing a fifth successive league victory.
Redditch are next in action against Droitwich in the Wiseman Lighting Floodlit Cup on Tuesday, October 15 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the King George Playing Fields.
