WALLOP Boxing Club are hosting their third home show at Arrow Vale Sports Centre at the start of next month (Friday, November 1).
The card will feature 15 bouts between Wallop fighters and a host of boxers from top clubs from around the Midlands.
And Wallop fighter Sami Khan, who recently lost a split decision in the semi-finals of the Midlands Novice Championships, will also feature on the card.
Wallop hosted a successful first home show at the Abbey Stadium in April before then holding the first-ever England Amateur Boxing show to take place at Arrow Vale in June.
Wallop’s director and lead coach, Carl Dickens, said: “The club is going from strength-to-strength, we’re looking for more England affiliated coaches as the squad is getting bigger.
“We’ve had a busy season with numerous bouts across the Midlands and all of our boxers held their own.
“My night will be extra busy as once the show is up and running I have to dash to the Palace Theatre after the club was shortlisted for the People’s Choice Award at the Redditch Business Awards which takes place on the same night as the home show.”
Doors open at 7pm with the action to begin at 7.30pm on Friday, November 1. The venue holds a maximum of 250 spectators with tickets available on the door.
Anyone interested in attending the show should call: 07564570067 or contact the club via their social media platforms. The club has offered 10 per cent off to Arrow Vale students who wish to purchase tickets.
Local Midlands Area Featherweight champion Sian O’Toole and professional Redditch boxer Leo Fanthome will present awards to the fighters after their bouts.
