JAY Higgins-Pugsley scored a hat-trick as Sporting Club Inkberrow sealed a play-off spot with a 3-0 victory against Thornbury Town.
Higgins-Pugsley netted a fine treble at Sands Road to confirm Inkberrow’s place in the top-five with three games to spare.
The result means Sporting sit third in the Hellenic League Premier Division table, one point behind leaders Hartpury University who have four games in-hand.
Higgins-Pugsley broke the deadlock on nine minutes with a clinical finish from 12-yards out after good work from Ruben Freeman.
And Higgins-Pugsley doubled the home side’s lead three minutes later when he scored from the penalty spot.
Inkberrow sealed the points on 73 minutes as Higgins-Pugsley completed his hat-trick with another finish from 12-yards out.
Sporting Club Inkberrow are next in action against Roman Glass St George on Saturday, March 15 with kick-off at 3pm at Sands Road.
