ALVECHURCH slipped to a narrow 1-0 defeat away at Stamford as the club’s winless run on the road stretched to five matches.
The game’s only goal came on nine minutes courtesy of Elliott Durrell at the Zeeco Stadium.
And the result means Alvechurch sit 11th in the Southern League Premier Central table.
The decisive moment came just nine minutes in as Durrell controlled Kai Sanchez-Tonge’s cross from the left and coolly found the bottom left corner.
Alvechurch are next in action against Kettering Town on Tuesday, March 18 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Lye Meadow.
