WALLOP Boxing Club are expecting a bumper crowd at their fourth home show which takes place at Redditch United’s Valley Stadium next weekend.
The event takes place on Saturday, May 24 with doors open at 4.30pm and the last bout to take place at 10.30pm.
Some 22 bouts will take place at Redditch’s Valley Stadium home with the boxing to take place under the floodlights in the centre of the pitch.
Wallop’s lead coach and director, Carl Dickens said: “The first show put me in good stead to get to this point now.
“The hardest one was the first one, it’s allowed me to put on a show of this magnitude now.
“We’ve got a seven-foot heavyweight, who is the biggest heavyweight from Britain, who is headlining the show.
“We want to become a known-club around the Midlands and we hope we can create a solid future for the club.
“And we hope to give all of the amateur fighters a platform to become national champions one day.”
