ALVECHURCH have confirmed the appointment of Shaun Edwards as the club’s new assistant manager to boss Tim Flowers.
Edwards joins Church from National League North side Hereford where he acted as goalkeeping coach for the past two seasons.
His playing career was curtailed by injury, featuring for the likes of Studley, Bromsgrove Sporting, Alvechurch and Pershore Town.
Edwards said: “Absolutely buzzing to be here and working closely with Tim and the group of players.
“All focus now turns to a successful upcoming campaign.”
Following his retirement, Edwards became assistant manager at Coton Green before later joining Hereford.
