REDDITCH Borough saw their opening league game of the season against Bewdley Town abandoned due to an injury to goalkeeper Callum Monaghan.
Monaghan suffered a serious injury just eight minutes into the Hellenic League Division One clash at Ribbesford Meadows.
The Borough goalkeeper received treatment on the pitch before an ambulance was called.
He was later to taken to hospital in a private vehicle.
Monaghan suffered a dislocated ankle which will rule him out of action for the next couple of months.
