ALVECHURCH have extended the loan deal of goalkeeper Redman Evans until the end of the season.
Evans starred in Church’s recent FA Trophy win against Worcester City as he saved two penalties in the shootout.
He also helped Alvechurch beat Basford United earlier in the competition as he again saved two spot kicks to send Church through.
The goalkeeper embarked on a five-game run without conceding in September.
And he will now remain at Lye Meadow until the end of the season after Church came to an agreement with League Two side Swindon Town.
The 19-year-old initially joined Church on a four-month loan deal in the summer.
Swindon’s head of goalkeeping, Steve Mildenhall, said: “Redman has done really well at Alvechurch.
“He’s adapted quickly to the demands of senior football and shown great professionalism throughout.
“Extending his loan gives him the opportunity to keep building on that progress and gain more valuable first-team experience.”
Alvechurch have also signed midfielder Szhem Whyte-Hall on loan from Solihull Moors until January.
Whyte-Hall joined Moors from Studley last season and scored for Solihull against Aldershot Town in the National League earlier this campaign.
The versatile 24-year-old can also play further forward and adds some much-needed depth to Tim Flowers’ squad.
