REDDITCH United saw their four-game winning run in the league come to an end following a 2-1 defeat away at Needham Market.
The Reds fell behind to Myles Cowling’s first-half goal only for Robbie Bunn to draw the visitors level before the break at Bloomfields.
However, Seth Carroll-Chambers put Needham back in front shortly after half time with the Reds unable to find a second equaliser.
The result means Redditch sit fifth in the Southern League Premier Central table, five points behind leaders Harborough Town who have two games in-hand.
Needham broke the deadlock on 20 minutes when Cowling tussled with Luke Ward in the box and beat Tyrese Warmington at his near post.
Redditch equalised in style on 36 minutes as Bunn nutmegged two players before curling a low shot into the net from the edge of the penalty area via the aid of the post.
However, the home side reclaimed the lead five minutes into the second half when Needham broke quickly and Ben Hunter squared the ball to Carroll-Chambers who finished into an empty net.
Redditch are next in action against Bury Town on Saturday, November 15 with kick-off at 3.03pm at the Valley Stadium.
