GYMNASTS from across Bromsgrove and Redditch enjoyed a stellar year competing in a range of prestigious events throughout 2025.
Athletes from Bromsgrove Gymnastics Club started the year with a performance in the British GymFusion display in Manchester.
GymFusion is the British Gymnastics Festival Programme, designed to celebrate the spirit of gymnastics for all, in a non-competitive, inclusive environment.
The display took place at the Lowry theatre with the Bromsgrove club performing to a ‘storytelling’ theme provided by British Gymnastics.
And the gymnasts performed elements from their favourite stories including Little Red Riding Hood, Matilda, Run Boy Run, Titanic and Mamma Mia.
The team included gymnasts aged from eight to 18-years-old while the athletes also met Team GB Olympic gymnast Abi Martin.
The club then took part in a four-piece competition on floor, beam, bars and vault.
Bromsgrove’s gymnasts won team and individual medals across all age groups.
And the club ended the year on a high, competing at the North Solihull and Birmingham Challenge Cup.
Bromsgrove’s under-seven team won gold with athletes also claimed individual gold and silver in the same category.
The club’s under-13 and under-15 teams both won gold while Bromsgrove athletes secured individual gold in both categories.
And the club’s under-nine team won silver while the under-11 team took bronze.
Bromsgrove also won gold in both the individual women’s intermediate and advanced section events.
Head coach, Andrea Paice said: “All the gymnasts have worked extremely hard this year at their gymnastics skills we are so proud of all the gymnasts.
“We thank all of the gymnastic coaches for helping the children along in their gymnastics journey.”
Bromsgrove Gymnastics Club train at Meadows/Parkside Schools on a Monday and Saturday.
The recreational club is open to children from three-years old and above.
