ALVECHURCH saw their winless run in the league stretch to five matches following a 3-1 home defeat against Bury Town.
Church conceded three late goals at Lye Meadow which came shortly after Kieran Wakefield put the home side ahead on the hour mark.
The result means Alvechurch sit 18th in the Southern League Premier Central table, above the relegation zone on goal difference.
After a goalless first period, Church broke the deadlock on the hour mark as Wakefield finished from close range to put the home side in front.
However, Bury equalised eight minutes later when Oliver Canfer pounced on a loose ball to score after Mikey Davis saw his initial effort blocked.
And the visitors completed the turnaround on 73 minutes as Joe White lashed a shot past Jenson Kilroy from the edge of the penalty area.
Bury sealed the points seven minutes from time when Ryan Jolland rifled a low effort into the net as Church suffered defeat in their first home game of the New Year.
Alvechurch are next in action against Stamford on Tuesday, January 27 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Lye Meadow.
