ALVECHURCH won in the league for the first time since November with a 1-0 victory away at Quorn to end a five-game winless run.
Callum Sullivan’s second-half goal earned Church a first win since the turn of the year at Farley Way.
And the result means Alvechurch sit 18th in the Southern League Premier Central table, three points clear of the relegation zone.
The game’s only goal came on 58 minutes when Sullivan controlled Josh Dugmore’s pass from the right in the box and lashed a shot past Quorn goalkeeper Adam Harrison.
Alvechurch are next in action against St Ives Town on Saturday, February 7 with kick-off at 3pm at Lye Meadow.
