ALVECHURCH have kicked off their recruitment drive for the 2026/27 season with the signing of Miracle Okafor, writes Stan Mills.
Okafor returns to Alvechurch from National League side Brackley Town, following a brief stint with the club back in 2019.
The centre forward made seven appearences for the Saints, in a campaign that saw Town relegated to the sixth tier of English football.
Since leaving Church, the 25-year-old has played for the likes of Halesowen Town and Tamworth.
Okafor becomes Kyle Storer’s first post-season signing while the club have given new deals to exciting prospects Dieter Schwarm and Billy Corns.
The pair delivered a number of impressive performances for Church last season with the club eager to agree fresh terms with both players.
Church have also finalised their first pre-season friendly ahead of next season with Storer’s side travelling to the Oval, on Saturday, July 4, to face Northern Premier League side Bedworth United.
The club’s pre-season opener kicks off at 3pm.
