REDDITCH United have swooped to sign former Coventry City youngster Eli Bako ahead of Saturday’s big Southern League Premier Division promotion battle against Hitchin Town.
Midfielder Bako was part of the Sky Blues’ Academy but was released in 2014 and has arrived at the Valley Stadium from Northern League Premier Division outfit Ilkeston Town in time for the visit of the Hertfordshire side this weekend.
Reds boss Liam McDonald said: “Eli is a talented midfielder who will have a key part to play for us in the remainder of the campaign.
“He is versatile in his play like a lot of the midfielders at the club are and I’m sure the fans will be excited by what they see.”
