FOUR first-time fighters competing out of Redditch Mixed Martial Arts impressed when they went into battle at the MMA Battle Arena 43 event.
The competition at Oxford United FC’s Kassam Stadium was a big occasion for the Redditch fighters, who train at the Millsborough House-based club and are coached by professional MMA fighter James Whiston.
Tom Brookes won in round two against Jordan Squires with a rear naked choke, whilst Chris Mason won in round three against Liam Dahle with a head and arm choke.
Adam Tricklebank lost a close three-round fight and Darius Leikus lost in round three by rear naked choke.
