STEVE SPENCER won Saturday’s Dark Lane AC match on the River Arrow at Alcester with 13lb 9oz.
Second was Tony Turner with 9lb 13oz, third was Tony Lockett with 7lb 15oz and section winners were Mick Keen (6lb 14oz), Pete Lewis (5lb 6oz) and Max Claridge (4lb 6oz).
PETE ELMS won Sunday’s Needles AC match on the River Alne at Great Alne with 7lb 8oz.
Runner-up was Chris Cole with 4lb 7oz, third was Phil O’Donnell with 4lb 4oz and section winners were Dave Lewis (3lb 2oz), Glyn Blewett (2lb 5oz) and John Mutchell (1lb 15oz).
MICK KEEN triumphed in the Throckmorton AC Thursday evening three-hour match with 11lb 15oz.
Second was Paul Caswell with 10lb 6oz, third was Andy Peters with 9lb 11oz and fourth was Phil O’Donnell with 9lb 10oz.
ALAN BRADSHAW worked with stick float to bag dace for 4lb 13oz and win Sunday’s Wixford AC contest on the River Arrow.
Dan Adams netted perch on the worm for 2lb 10oz to finish second and Graham Rowe caught 2lb 6oz of dace on the pole to come third.
The poor fishing was made up for by some members seeing a red kite grace the sky.
