ST BEDE’S Catholic Middle School’s year seven girls’ team turned on the style to net glory in the Redditch District seven-a-side football tournament.
The girls from the Holloway Lane school played fantastically well in winning all of their games, scoring 23 goals and conceding none.
St Bede’s defeated Ridgeway 5-0, Walkwood and Birchensale 3-0 and Ipsley and Woodfield 2-0 to book their place in the final against Church Hill.
St Bede’s saved their best performance until last as they powered to an 8-0 success in the final. The year seven team have a fantastic record in the district tournament and will hope they can continue this into year eight.
