THERE were seven Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination teams in action in the Worcestershire FA Sunday Premier Cup on Sunday when the new sin-bin rule was successfully introduced.
Of the seven, only Astwood FC and Studley Lions booked places in the next round courtesy of 3-2 and 1-0 wins at VKL United and Worcester Athletic respectively.
In the league, Beoley Village beat Lodge Park 2-1 through a Ben Stone brace to move up to seventh. Leon Kandekore scored for the visitors.
Norton Athletic climbed a place to fifth as goals from Max Bevis, Lawrence Smith and Daryl Green secured a 3-2 home win over Redditch United Cross, for whom Tim Lees and James Rossiter netted.
