REDDITCH Tae Kwon-Do Club’s first regional competition under the Global Tae Kwon-Do United Kingdom umbrella brought instant success for Anna Bunce who returned with a bronze medal for sparring in the junior girls’ category.
Her instructor Amy Ridgard said: “It was Anna’s first competition and I am so very proud of how hard she trained and how well she did in the competition, especially after passing her grading only a few days beforehand.”
It was also a day to savour for Ridgard who won two silver medals for patterns and sparring in her category.
The competition was held in Ryton-on-Dunsmore near Rugby and around 150 people between the ages of three and 60-plus competed.
