BRYAN MORGAN won Saturday’s Needles AC match on the River Alne at Great Alne with a net weighing 11lb 10oz.
Runner-up in the event which featured 11 anglers was Bob Dean with 5lb 14oz, third was Chris Cole (4lb 7oz), fourth Barry Blewett (4lb 4oz) and fifth Nick Paddock (4lb 3oz).
The next day on the River Arrow at Coughton the Throckmorton AC match was attended by 12 anglers and the winner was Neil Rutter with 10lb 10oz.
Mick Keen was second with 8lb, Pete Lewis third with 7lb 15oz, Rob Watton fourth (7lb 10oz), Glyn Blewett fifth (7lb 9oz) and Max Claridge and Colin Caswell joint sixth (both 7lb 2oz).
