LILY VANN has made Redditch RFC history as she becomes the first junior section girl from the club to make it through to county level.
Lily faced a tough selection process, competing against girls with a lot more experience, but was unfazed by the challenge to secure her place in the North Midlands under-15’s side.
The teenager has since trained with the squad and has shown her try scoring nous to make herself known to North Midlands RFU.
Lily takes part in her first County festival this weekend as North Midlands take on Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.
The action takes place at Barkers Butts RFC on Sunday, May 15 from 12pm to 3.30pm.
