LOU Reeves was crowned Inkberrow Bowls Club ladies champion for the third time in four years after triumphing at the club’s finals week.
And Reeves was made to work for her victory as she battled back from 12-5 down to win 23-19 against Lynne Long in the final and claim the Wilkes Cup.
The men’s singles tournament was won by Rob Spencer who took the Mike Hill Shield with a 21-12 victory over Chris Churchill.
However, Churchill did not leave finals week empty-handed as he teamed up with Christine Roberts to win the John Tyrrell Shield in the mixed pairs event.
And David Willis came out on top in the mixed singles competition whilst Geraldine Slater, Lesley Roberts and Glyn Morley came together to claim the mixed triples title.
