SET sail for Millward Square in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (July 21/22/23) where Redditch’s very own Indigo Arts will be performing Songs for a New World by top composer Jason Robert Brown.
Part musical, part song cycle with gorgeous harmonies, the show takes the audience from the deck of a Spanish sailing ship heading West into the unknown to the ledge of a New York penthouse, where a range of characters on the verge of life changing moments tell their stories through song.
With a rousing score featuring pop, gospel and jazz delivered by Indigo’s vocal ensemble Indigo co, it promises to be a joyful and uplifting evening.
The venue is Indigo’s pop-up theatre in Millward Square, next to bhs, tickets and are £9.50 for adults, £8 for children at www.ticketsource.co.uk/indigoarts .
