THEATRE enthusiasts and Lewis Carroll lovers alike should get ready to go on a grand adventure with the Palace Youth Theatre’s (PYT) latest production ‘Alice in Wonderland Jr’ on August 11.

Two performances of the show will take place at the Palace Theatre as part of PYT’s two-week summer school project.

The first starts on Saturday afternoon at 2.30pm and the second will be on the evening at 7.30pm.

Local youngsters have worked hard rehearsing every day to bring together this enchanting childhood favourite.

Alice in Wonderland Jr is suitable for the whole family and includes characters such as the singing Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts.

Lizzi Tabberer, Youth Theatre and Arts Officer, said: “Our summer school pupils always work really hard to put on these productions and we’d love as many people as possible to come along and support them.

“Come and see the stunning portrayals of all your favourite classic characters.”

Tickets cost £11, £9 concession or £36 for a family ticket inclusive of booking fee £1 per ticket up to a maximum of £4.

For more information or to book your tickets, contact the Palace Theatre on 01527 65203 or pop into the theatre.
