All-singing Jerseys better in Redditch than in London's West End

West End Jerseys, Palace Theatre

AUDIENCES of all ages were treated to a real nostalgic musical treat On Saturday night as the tribute band West End Jerseys performed at the Palace.

The packed set included all the hits of one of the biggest selling groups of all times – Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons – and included hits such as Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like a Man and more.

The harmonies and dance routines were an absolute treat and each band member performed fantastic solos which reflected their ‘West End’ background and training.

Backed by a keyboard player, guitar and drums the concert was actually better than the actual ‘Jersey Boys’ show in the West End thanks to its all-singing and dancing content.

After the break the band sang medleys of the Beatles and other 60s bands and by the end of the evening even the most reserved members of the audience were up on their feet bopping along and singing, enjoying the party atmosphere.

The band were greeted in return by a thoroughly deserved standing ovation.

A great night and we will definitely go and see them again next time they are at the Palace.
