BRITISH Blues sensation Rebecca Downes is to perform at Steps Bar, Redditch on Sunday, October 4.
Petite Rebecca, 5ft 2in in her high heels, is endowed with a powerhouse voice which one reviewer said made Janis Joplin sound like a choir girl.
The gig kicks off Steps’s commitment to live music, with a full diary performances arranged for every Sunday afternoon from 4pm.
This starts with Rebecca, followed by The John Steeds, on October 11, and includes a performance by The King of Barrelhouse Blues, Steve Big Man Clayton on November 15.
