Brand new musical adaptation of ‘The Snow Queen’ head to the Palace

WINTER may be on its way but to get you feeling warm and cosy a brand new musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s ‘The Snow Queen’.

When Kai is abducted to an enchanted frozen palace, his best friend Gerda sets out to rescue him… but will she reach the Snow Queen before it’s too late?

Multi talented B*Witched singer Edele Lynch stars as the Snow Queen as well as the Grandmother and Robber Lady which comes to the Palace Theatre in Redditch next Friday, November 1 at 6pm.

Joining her will be Eva McKenna, James Hastings, Nuala McGowan, Christopher Jeffries and Benjamin Mowbray.




Producer Anton Benson said: “Audiences can expect a magical re-imagining of this classic Hans Christian Andersen story, filled with infectious melodies, intriguing illusions and a sprinkling of puppetry, all brought to life by an ensemble of actor-musicians.”

The show is designed to appeal to children of all ages from five to 105.


Tickets are available online, or in person from the box office on 01527 65203 priced £15 / £13 / £52 for a family ticket and it’s curtain up at 6pm.
