TWO of the UK’s most highly respected singer-songwriters take to the stage at Jack Blackman’s Tuery Sessions music night at the Cross Keys, Alcester next Sunday (October 23).

Boss Caine are a folk/ Americana collective from York, England fronted by singer-songwriter Daniel Lucas. Featuring powerful songs and a voice that ‘makes Louis Armstrong’s sound kinda girly’, Boss Caine offer whisky-soaked songs, soul and emotion by the bucketload.

They’ll be joined by Coventry-based guitarist, poet and songwriter Kristy Gallacher who on 2008 at the age of 21, formed her own independent record label, Broken Player Records, signed herself and has been self sufficient ever since.

The night will also feature the now ubiquitous raffle and jam session to conclude the evening with music from 6pm.
