FANS of the Fab Four are in for a treat at the Palace Theatre next month when The Mersey Beatles roll in to Redditch, writes Ramla Soni.
Liverpool’s favourite Beatles tribute band are returning to the stage as part of their world tour where they will faithfully play a host of classics from ‘Love me do’ to ‘Let it Be’ and ‘A Day in the Life’.
Like the original four, The Mersey Beatles will be in beautifully designed costumes and replica guitars, amps and drums to help create the look and sound of the great eras of the foursome.
Voted as the best Beatles band by the British Beatles fan club, The Mersey Beatles have done more than 3,500 performances at their Cavern Club residency alone and have headlined several festivals and events around the world.
Not only that but they’ve also performed knockout gigs in Redditch at the Palace Theatre too!
After 10 years in the role the Liverpool born and bred lads perform with no script, react and interact with the audience in a natural way of their role models and perform songs in the original recorded key to give their audience the most realistic and enjoyable performance of their musical heroes.
Not only that, but their Liverpool accents are genuine.
The Mersey Beatles take to the stage at the Palace Theatre on Saturday, September 9 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £18 and are available from the box office in person, by calling 01527 65203 or online at www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk/.
