WITH around 50 acts playing over the two days on four different stages this months GlastonBeoley Festival promises to be a feast for all the senses.
On the late afternoon of Friday 30th June and all-day Saturday 1st July, the club grounds and clubhouse will play host to over 50 of the finest local musicians and bands.
The festival aims for a family-friendly feel, with lots of children’s entertainment, street food, a prosecco and gin bar and beer tent – plus craft stalls for gifts and festival clothing.
Debbie Joynes, the brainchild behind the original GlastonBeoley in 2018, said of the new venue: “We couldn’t be more delighted to be in such a central Redditch location for 2023. With access to buses, taxis and trains – as well as ample parking – everything is in place for what we expect to be a record-breaking event!
“But none of this would be possible without the help of our festival sponsors and the Venue Committee, who have made us very welcome from the outset.”
Adult Tickets are just £10 for the weekend – a weekend wristband is issued and that gets you access for the whole of the festival. Under 16’s are FREE as long as they are with a paying adult.
The line-up of artists and bands performing over the weekend includes Vaseline, Queen tribute band Hot Space, All Killer and Masters of Sabbath – and Bhangra Smash Up – to name but a few!
The emphasis really is on family-friendly fun so that everyone can come and enjoy themselves – support the artists and bands who give up their time to make GlastonBeoley wonderful for everyone, and help us to raise money for local causes as we share our revenue across the Redditch district to charities and local volunteer and community groups who need our support.
They are run entirely by a team of lovely volunteers and again for 2023 we will have Sign Solutions with us who will be signing some of the songs on the stage to give a fully inclusive festival experience.
