ONE OF the leading British Rock groups of the 1960s will be rolling back the years when they take to the stage in Malvern next week.
The Hollies, well known for their pioneering and distinctive three part harmony style, will be rocking out to their most famous tunes on Friday, November 21 when they perform at the Malvern Theatres Forum Theatre at 7.45pm.
Along with the Beatles, The Hollies helped shape the world of Pop and Rock as we know it today and recently were honoured by the prestigious American Rock n’ Roll Hall Of Fame for their impact on the evolution, development, and perpetuation of Rock n’ Roll’.
The group have recently played to sell-out audiences in Australia, New Zealand and Norway, promoted their double album ‘Hollies LIVE Hits – We Got The Tunes’ on their 20-date theatre tour of the UK, made guest appearences at various festivals and headlined The Acoustic Festival of Britain, Ludlow Arts Festival and Silverstone Classic Rocking and Racing.
Consisting of Tony Hicks, Peter Howarth, Ray Stiles, Ian Parker, Steve Lauri, and Bobby Elliott – the famous names will perform classic hits including ‘The Air That I Breathe’, ‘Bus Stop’, ‘Carrie Anne’, ‘Jennifer Eccles’, ‘He Ain’t Heavy He’s My Brother’ and many more in a two-hour show.
