FOR those looking to get away from it all and enjoy some luxury relaxation, the Mallory Court Country House Hotel and Spa is the perfect destination.
The hotel and Spa, near Leamington Spa, invited Redditch and Alcester Standard reporter Imogen Buller to visit following the unveiling of their brand new luxury spa facilities to see what they have to offer their guests. She writes:
I was lucky enough to be hosted by Mallory Court Country House Hotel and Spa on May 21 and the hotel, part of the Eden Hotel Collection, really do deliver luxury in everything they do.
Upon arrival we were escorted from the main hotel reception to the brand new spa building just across the courtyard of beautiful gardens, and from the moment we stepped through the door, a sense of peace and tranquility surrounded us.
After being shown to our room – one of 12 luxurious new bedrooms – we were left to explore the hotel before being shown around the spa facilities. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated in traditional style with a modern twist. Everything had been thought through, from the lighting to the soft furnishings and it all created a sense of peace and opulence.
From the bespoke wooden bay windows, we spotted the outdoor vitality pool and decided to check out the spa.
In addition to the outdoor pool and glazed outdoor sauna, a short tour also revealed a Rhassoul mud room, indoor Hydro pool, sauna, steam room and gym.
On the top floor are seven treatment rooms and after a dip in the sparkling and blissfully warm Hydro pool, we headed up to indulge in a treatment…
The range of ila, ESPA and ORLY treatments includes the 55-minute ESPA Aromatherapy Massage (£79), which I experienced during my stay.
The individual treatment room was softly lit and Christina helped me choose an essential oil that would most suit what I wanted to get from the massage.
For 55 glorious minutes, the treatment was tailored to suit my needs and preferences and for a de-stress and revitalise, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
The spa team were professional, courteous and highly skilled and if you’re looking for a luxurious escape from reality, Mallory Court Spa is the place for you.
