EXCITEMENT is building as the next Morton Stanley Park festival looms on the horizon.

The free event in the 95 acre park, from August 19-20, has been organised by Redditch Borough Council and is open to the whole community.

Starting at 1pm each day the acts including main stage headliners Big Wolf Band, an upbeat Blues band with a powerhouse sound.

The line-up consists of Jonathan Earp (guitar and vocals), Mick Jeynes (bass), Tim Jones (drums) and Paul Brambani (keyboards) and together they make a formidable force of music.




Formed in 2014 by founder Jonathan Earp and original member Mick Jeynes the band has gone from strength to strength on the local scene and now have a solid fan base to continue the journey.

They’re on stage at 5.15pm on Saturday evening.


Meanwhile on Sunday look out for top reggae band Jeramiah Ferrari and Bewdley’s Arcadia Roots plus across the two days there will some 37 local acts playing across two stages.

To complement it all with be festival stalls, classic street food and drink, rides and Saturday’s firework finale will all feature at the family friendly festival.

Main stage line-up:

On Saturday: 4pm The Zoe Green Band; 4.40pm Pig Man & The Rubber Band; 5.15pm Big Wolf Band.

On Sunday: 5pm The Emma Jonson Quartet; 5.35pm Jeremiah Ferrari; 6.15pm Arcadia Roots.
