MILLER and Carter have confirmed plans of opening up a brand new steakhouse in Studley this summer.
The new restaurant will be located at the Washford Mill with the Old Washford Mill pub closing in April and the new Miller and Carter steakhouse opening a month later in June.
Miller and Carter (a subsidiary of Mitchell and Butlers) have around 63 restaurants nationwide and describe themselves as “experts of steak”.
The Washford Mill has a varied history dating back to 1086;the mill became the first needle factory in Redditch around 1750 and in 1967 was converted into a pub by Inn Leisure Co.
A specific date for the new steakhouses opening has not yet been announced.
