Redditch Editorial 26th May, 2017   0

REV your engines this bank holiday as the Motor Show returns to Ragley Hall featuring a stunning display spanning 70 years of classic vehicles.

Held over the Whitsun bank holiday this Sunday (May 28) and Monday (May 29) visitors will be able to admire up to 1,500 vehicles set in 400 acres of glorious parkland.

On show will be cars from the Roaring Twenties straight through to the late 1990s with top marques like Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, BMW and Lotus all expected to make the trip.

Not only that but an interactive live arena will be bringing motoring to life with parades, challenges and competitions.

Visitors will be able to take part in choosing the loudest motor in the ‘Decibel Duel’, along with the ‘Daily Driver’ and ‘Pride of Ownership’ contests.

In addition to the classic motors, there will be the sounds of the Sixties played by the The Quik Beats on Sunday, and the Blueprint Blues Brothers on Monday.

Meanwhile fanatics in search of automotive memorabilia will be happy to spend hours looking through the auto jumble stands.

There will also be an adventure playground for children, a 3D maze, climbing frames, trampolines and swings too.

In addition the Woodland Walk, a route through grassland, established woodland and young plantations is an ideal place for the family to explore and let off some steam.

Gates open at 10am until 4pm each day, with admission to the Motor Show and the park and gardens £14 for adults and £6 for children (4-16).
