A TALENTED Redditch hairdresser is glowing after being named Best Christmas Colour 2016 by Arrow Hair and Beauty.

Victoria Bradbury, from Batchely, entered the competition run by the independent beauty wholesale company to promote their new Affinage “Rockstar Reds” range, which asked entrants for photographs of models who’s hair had been dyed with the products and wearing glitter-lips lipstick.

Victoria, who runs her business Hair Designed By Vicki, from Imogen’s Hair and Beauty salon in Headless cross, where she rents a chair, coloured her friend Amy Clayton’s hair for a Christmas party and decided to enter.

“I had recently coloured Amy’s hair with the range and was so delighted with the result that I decided to photograph her wearing the ‘glitter lips’ product too.

“I am so pleased I won, because I it’s the first time I’ve won a competition since setting up my business and I can’t wait to enter another.”

30 year-old Victoria is already planning her next project in preparation for a national competition in March.

Amy, who owns the The Groom Room based in Imogen’s Hair and Beauty salon, said: “I was exceptionally pleased with the outcome of my quirky hairstyle. Vicki showed her technical ability and creative passion for colouring which was reflected in a fantastic result on my hair.”
