PEOPLE in Redditch with a skill they want to share are urged to apply for this year’s Redditch Has Talent show.
There are still plenty of spaces to audition for the talent show and judges are on the lookout for anyone with a special skills from singers, magicians and acrobats to comedians, jugglers and ventriloquists to apply.
Anyone aged 10 or above can apply for auditions which will be held in the Palace Theatre Studio on Thursday, March 30 from 6pm-8pm and Saturday, April 1 from 12noon -3pm and 6pm-8pm.
Each act will have a maximum of five minutes to perform and the initial selection needs to only showcase ‘raw’ talent – no specialist equipment is required but should you make it to the final, the experts at the Palace will do everything in their power to provide all necessary technical support.
All those chosen to go through after the audition stage will appear in the final of the competition which will be held on June 29.
Dave Wilkins, judge and producer of Redditch Has Talent one of the judges in the talent competition, said: “We know there is a wealth of talent out there in Redditch, but most importantly, we want people to enjoy themselves and have fun sharing their talents with others.”
