A POP-UP red-carpet style film premiere in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre this week promises to be ‘exceptional’.

The Indigo Arts theatre production ‘Take 2 TV’ will be screened in the in the shop unit adjacent to BHS at 7.30pm on Wednesday (July 6) all thanks to a £500 grant from the Redditch Arts Council.

The performance group of young people and adults with learning disabilities have been working alongside digital artist Paul Stringer to produce the film which takes a comical look at modern day television and they will attend the event in Redditch as the celebrity stars of the show.

Speaking for Arts In Redditch, Malcolm Hall said “I am always pleased to see it go to innovative ideas and good causes, and the work Indigo Arts does with children and adults across the town, especially the Take 2 group is exceptional.”
